Baleia Beach is only 160km from São Paulo and lies between the beaches of Barra do Sahy and Camburi. It is very close to other beaches in the region that deserve to be visited: Boiçucanga, Juquehy, Barra do Una and Maresias.
It is said that its name refers to a small island in front, whose shape resembles the marine animal.
Long stretches, hard sand and calm waters, Baleia beach houses several residential condominiums and vacation homes.
Very familiar place, almost without commerce nor nocturnal agitations. The practice of sports such as volleyball, football and races and bike rides along the waterfront are local characteristics.
