ORIGINAL LIGHTS

Prepare yourself to take part in a scenic set of lights, with many gradations, from the romantic appeal to the perfect colour to relax in the bath. With minimalist orientation, but far from being simple, the lighting steals attention in all the ambients. Such the  spectacularity of the lightning design of Pousada Azul Maria that the project is already among the three finalists of Prêmio Abilux 2009 (an important Brazilian award of lighting), in the Hotels category.

“The main goal was to bring visual comfort to the guests”, comment the author of the project, Davis Paros, from Scene Light Design. He used the focused flare of the led lamps to apprise each object, and he drew personally all the lusters and lampshades, which were made with materials such as aluminum, and recovered with automotive painting of special colours – and even with foils of gold. “My intention was show the lusters as piece of arts for their-selves. Not like simple functional objects like sconces or plafons.”

It's in the bathroom, however, that takes place the sensory apotheosis. The lightning designer projected an alternative of violet to light the bath, exactly for the relaxing properties of this colour. In a nice set, the hue plays with the natural light that enters the ambient through the sunroof.  

Yet in the restaurant of Pousada, the stars shine. Optics fiber cheer up luminous points in the ceiling, that blink as a comet, surrounded by the big luster made by means of handcraft with copper's nests. In the same way, the swimming pool also glint in a special manner at night.
